What is going on with Sbynews.com? Well, last week our esteemed colleague Joe Albero, who cussed us out because we put up a link to the grinch on our shitty blogsite, made a new TV show airing on public access television. We watched this show and here's our feelings on this crap... Joe started with the Salisbury Zoo and how his blog has become such a phenomenon across Maryland and the Eastern Shore. The simple fact is Joe, you need to stop tooting your own horn. It's seriously ridiculous. When you walk up to cops and say "You must want to be Joe Albero right now" you've got a screw loose. Joe's wife got fired from the Salisbury Zoo some years ago which sparked Joe to go on a rampage to destroy the City of Salisbury, plain and simple. Although we have to give him kudos for his dedicated efforts in fucking with people, he is a little over the top. So, he then went on to talk about how be broke the story on the water treatment plant and some other stuff. We don't really know, we kinda nodded off.
Which brings us to the Grinch once again. This guy is amusing... he literally puts up a paper cut out of Joe Albero and trys to talk (well, uses a shrill voice) in order to pretend to be Joe. This guy is crazy, crazy too. But, hey, it's amusing to a point. We don't really follow him either.

WHOOPS, We pissed off Joe Albero :(
Well unfortunately, you can't please all of the people all of the time. As our readers may know, we list other local blogs on the right side of our screen, including the Salisbury Grinch and Salisbury News (Joe's Site). Although we hate Johnathan Taylor (the cop hater) we won't be used as a tool against him. Further, even though hes a total butthead, we still respect his first amendment right to be a butthead. We post his blog so any self respecting person can see that his information is that of a fool. This does not mean we support him whatsoever.
So, we received an e-mail from Joe Albero stating that we need to remove the Grinch from the right side of our blog. We advised him that even though we are the "new kid on the block" we don't take orders from people and that we would consider his request. Unfortunately, he responded with the following e-mail:

I just revisited your Site and while I'm all about supporting Law Enforcement, the fact that you have kept the most vile blogger linked to your Site forces me to remove you from my favorites. As I told you from the beginning, I would keep a watchful eye on your progress and I have done so. Anyone connected with that man is deleted from anything we have to say or do and you have just lost another visitor who came to your Site at least twice a day. You will soon fade into the sunset and disappear. Again, I never told you what to do, (as your last e-mail suggested) I simply told you that if you didn't remove that link I would never be back and I have just removed it from my computer and I will never be back, unless you finally get your head out of your ass. We also would like to make it clear that we don't ever publish "A to B" e-mails but this one was plainly ridiculous so we did. So, foowey on you. We do what we want.
Ouch! Some people take this garbage way, way to seriously. So, Joe while we kinda like and somewhat respect you for your "Journalistic Efforts" and the fact that you share our hatred of The Grinch, your e-mail to us was out of line. We never asked you to read our blog, comment on our blog, or include us in your list of friends, or whatever it is. Unfortunately, we run this blog how we want to run this blog. We will not be pressured by anyone to alter how it appears or what is included in it's information. This blog is primarily for the Thin Blue Line, which you are not apart of, although we welcome the input of non commissioned personnel and citizens just the same. We will still include your information on our blog because we believe in the 1st amendment right of freedom of speech and that we respect your right to publish stuff. However, everyone, bear in mind we freely admit this is a crappy blog, so WTF?? Calm down. Look we even used a cool picture of you!

No I think this site has a ton to offer. Any real cop that would not enjoy this site is well not a real cop.
Keep up the great work. Sometimes the truth just plain hurts.
I for one am tired of the same old bullshit from the same old tops at one local office. The county has taken food off the tables of young men and women who work as hard as any cop anywhere. The Brass seems to be angered by anyone that can still laugh and enjoy fighting crime.
When the "Big Guy" is away they fly their bars hard. This is just ridiculous.
To all the road dogs keep up the good fight. Hunt thugs like they are trophies. Never stop being cops.
As for you guys keep it real. Keep the truth out there. Every man and women with a badge out there day to day no matter who they work for need be a family.
The job is not getting any easier as crime increases and resources decrease. Do not let pencil pushers dictate how you feel. How you approach the dangerous profession you have chosen. You are the real heros in this battle of good and evil.
I salute each and every one of you.
