Crapper VIP Card and Merchandise??

We are toying with the idea of creating a "VIP" card and crapper merchandise. We want to get your opinion. We've been getting a lot of e-mails on both topics since we mentioned it in a post response some time ago. No the girl does not come with the shirt.

Here's how this would work. The Crapper VIP card would only be available to law enforcement officers and would be mailed directly to people at their agency to ensure that they are really police officers. The card would cost you, lets say $20 or $30, all of which would be donated to law enforcement charities directly (we would make no profit or handle any money or payment). The card would then be dropped shipped to you from our printer. This card would get you discounts at local establishments such as restaurants and other places. Prior to the cards becoming available, we would print a list of local businesses that will accept them. The card can also be used as a "challenge coin" showing your dedication to the cause of the thin blue line and standing up for each other and what is right.

We are also toying with the idea, as we mentioned before in a blog comment, with having crapper merchandise available for purchase directly from cafepress.com. Cafepress.com prints custom shirts and etc and would drop ship the directly to our readers who order (So again, we handle no money. All profits would go directly to law enforcement charities from cafepress.com.)

All donation records would be available online for review by our readers in PDF format. Bear in mind, since we would not be handling any funds we are not required to file as a non-profit organization under U.S. Tax Code. All funds would be processed and transmitted electronically or by check to police charities directly from cafepress.com and/or whichever place we choose to issue membership VIP Cards.

What do you think?
