Hey, thanks for those who attended the first crap chat, we hope you had a good time. Some interesting points were raised about a lot of different topics including office furniture (?), some guy changing a tire on the side of a road, how we felt about people abusing sick leave, and more. We are looking forward to the next Crap Chat soon and hopefully we have more in attendance for a live discussion with the WicBury Crapper about various law enforcement related topics!
The next Crap Chat will be on Thursday Aug. 20th, 2009 at 8:00 PM! Bring your crap.

Great Crap !!!!!
Karma is a funny thing. The series My Name Is Earl brought a whole new look at Karma. Do good things and good things come to you. If you believe in karma.
Sunday as i prepared my gear to go out into the 100 dergree day with 85% humidty I bitched and moaned just how nice it would be at the beach today. Spending time with family and friends. Drinking a cold. I must say i was a bit crappy.
Then a friend of mine called and stated "Hey that guy on your shift that has the injured back and has been out most of the summer" Does he own a big ass beach camper. I stated yea he does. Well traffic is backed up a mile. He is along side of Rt. 50 changing a flat tire on that big bitch. Looks like he was AMSA all week.
Well I laughed. Not at the thought of my injured brother behind the badge who was busted changing a tire coming from the beach. I laughed at Karma.
I laughed because my socks and speedo were already wet before I got into my cop car. I laughed because my vest felt like it weighed fifty pounds.
It made going to work on a hot nasty day well worth it. To those who do the right thing. That do not crap on brothers and sisters. I think good things come to you.
Karma a funny thing if you ask me.
That guys a punk that's afraid of the road and actually doing work. He's been hand fed by a certain (and only) captain at the WCSO.
How can he be changing a tire on one of those big campers if he's got a hurt back? There needs to be some kinda accountability
There needs to be an internal investigation and someone needs to be fired!!!! Then they can hire a real cop
Hey Crappy, I tried to find the chat, guess I got here a bit late. at 1800, couldn't find you.
Many people at that agency abuse sick leave. Most are friends with important people. Fair is fair. This may be a reason why moral is low.
Hmmmmm on whom? In which dept? What laws or policy is being broken specifically? Do they do an internal on everyone? Kiss our wicbury crapper asses commentator. We provide a forum to air public issues. We have not talked crap about an individual administrator or specific dept. For that matter. If the issues we discuss fit your dept. Then great. But if you don't like our brand of crap go somewhere else and be a real cop and get the hell off our stoop. Your mother.
Fired for what? Telling the truth?? I love this crappy crap.
No, the guy who is malingering and abusing his "injury" and still getting paid for it while going to the beach on the weekend needs to be fired.
Ohhhhhhhh. Sorry we get carried away sometimes.we take back our comments about your mother then! ;)
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Here is my take on it. If the guy has a ligit injury. Then maybe there is more to the story. If I am the guy sweating his balls off working and can not get a day off because they are short on the shift. Then you have a real beef if this guy is chumping the sytem. just sounds and looks real crappy at this point.
Karma is a funny thing. It will come back ten fold if you do wrong. I have been caught 99% of the time for things I have done wrong. These people cruise through life feeling like we owe them something. The agency and your shift parteners owe you shit if you are trying to beat the system. I know cops and when one of the troops is hurt they will rally to your aid. If you screw them they will hang your ass out to dry, and rightfully so.
So if this shoe fits take it off and start again. whoever you are someone is watching. You said you wanted to be one, now do it or get out. A weak link in a chain is sad thing. That goes for command as well. The chain is just that. One strong unit working toward a common goal. If this happens good things happen. In the field, in the office, and in your own life.
I am going to give this cop the benefit of the doubt. They probably do have a legit injury. It does sound like they are milking it. Beware the cow might just run dry.. That is a lonely isalnd no man wants to be on.
Sleep tight U Road Dogs.
Signed
Major Crap
Very valid point. I guess people just dont think about their actions. This is at all departments. Why do they get away with it. If you worked at a factory your ass would be fired. My boss rides by your house if you are to sick to work then you better be at the doctor or at least getting meds. This why PRMC does what they do to nurses, They have to burn so much holiday before they get sick leave because of the abuse.
I know a guy who stayed out almost a year going to the beach, built a new house, and all the while paid. Then comes back to work and was not even assigned back to his patrol group. Sits there half the day freaking off. Working eights while his shift mates work tens. Must be one of the P-Burg Possee. Hmmmmm. Sucks to be a Deputy if you are not from the East Side of the county.
Then they want to fire others for being late and stupid shit like that. What a Crock of shit.
I know that the deputy was injured and has had surgery. I can say that surgery need time to heal. Usually of to 4 to 6 months no work and another 3 to 5 on light duty. I may be that light duty may be hurting more than regular duty would, but then if something happened would he be able to get physcial. Yes, there may be soemthing to this but then again some heel faster than others
maybe if someone took the time to lose some weight while they've been for 8 months, they would be in tip top shape and be ready to hit the road. plus the uniform wouldn't have to be tailored again!
well how about the fact that the guy who was injured has the ability to change a tire on a camper (which isn't as easy as a car) but not the ability to don a uniform and answer calls. It's not like he actually does any proactive work when he's in uniform anyways. He's good for taking reports only and that at least free's a proactive Deputy up to be proactive. Come on, really, when was the last time that the "injured" Deputy actually made a hands on arrest resulting from a vehicle search, footchase, etc...or can he re-injure himself from chasing around high school girls???
Just a clarification, the guy that was out for back surgery has not owned a pickup camper for two years.
OKAY, okay. Enough on the guy with a pickup camper. Geeze. If it was him or not, whoever he is, who gives a crap.. well apperently a lot of people, ha. But, still enough screwing with the guy. If he is not doing right it will catch up with him eventually. If not, then he should have nothing to worry about (maybe) depending on the department. But, enough is enough bashing the pickup trailer guy. Thanks for not using his name so we'd have to block the comments.
Your chat in no way could have been as smelly as the crap being spewed over on that green blog. Now they are posting emails from ficticious people pretending to be someone they don't know the true identity all in an effort to discredit the other blogger. What a load of crap. There oughta be a law...
