Many articles have focused on WCSD and the city police department however, it is important to remember that the city police departments SPD, FPD, and DPD take care of a lot of business within their jurisdictions. The Salisbury City Police CAT team, although massively understaffed, continues to make great arrests and continues to put a crimp in the Church Street areas.
DPD and FPD also deserve a lot of credit in the jobs that they do daily. Keep up the good work city cops. We are behind you 110%!

Any idea what happened last night at Church & Naylor? I heard the 5 "POP" sounds, the Calls for Service says it was a firearms incident...
I think a lot of our problems over there would go away if that store were shut down.
While on the topic of some of the locals. i would just like to say in my opion there are two kinds of Cops that stop cars on Rt. 13 and the by-pass that do not call them out. Its called the Double D standard. " Dumb or Dirty ". Keep it safe out there.
