Hey Crapper,
What is going on over at the sheriff's office? First I heard they were on a hiring freeze, now I hear that they are hiring certified cops. And, the day before yesterday I heard they just got an assload of brand new furnature delivered to the place? Do they have money or what? Are they hiring right now or what's the scoop? Are they just taking their time and did they get any of that grant money?

To answer your question they were on a hiring freeze and we think they still are for new positions but they have several currently open positions from deputies that have resigned or been terminated. So we are pretty sure that they are hiring certified applicants. We don't think they got any grant money for new positions from the federal government, if that's the grant money you are referring to. They were not included on the list of agencies published. As far as the furniture, we have no idea what was delivered or to whom.
BIG CHAIRS and a BIG TABLE for the morning meetings is what I have heard. I also heard the cost was well over 10g. Must be left overs from the assets seized. Every little improvement helps. They have the worst building by far of any department that size. They also have some jumbo sized brass. Sorry guys if the chair fits sit in it.
They do need one more parking space there I noticed they have a parking place for everyone from the work release guy to the Top Dog. They do not have a place for their Deputy Of The Quarter to park and the award displayed in their lobby was last updated sometime last year or later.
This might cause some road dogs to feel they are last on the list. The statement I heard froma deputy was someone in command stated. " We got you cars, cameras, lap tops". Well to that leader I would say so did you. You also have the ability to stay indoors when it is 10 or 100 degrees out. You also get compensated every two weeks for that butter bar. You drive a tinted window vehicle. You have attended training all over the state. So instead of pitching rank be a leader and get the damn parking place and recognize the backbone of any angency. That is your road warrior taking the risk daily. Any leader worth his or her salt knows all other aspects are support services.
The road Dog needs no treats other than to be heard once in a while and recognized for their service. As I hope if you are a leader you have some street cred, and worked rotating shifts on Holidays. Yes no doubt you got where you are by working your way through the daily barrage of bullshit. NEVER NEVER forget where you came from and what is was like to be one.

And the admin at the Sheriff's office have TWO BRAND NEW computers on their desks. Some people can't even get one!!
WHAT ?? One for surfing and one for business ?? That sounds odd. Maybe one of them is the Crapper.
Major crap you hit the nail on the head. Priorities you guys have no disability or Leoops. That is paramount at this point.
