The new taser "X3" enhanced and brand new model of the taser deployment system is on it's way to being released from taser. The project, which has been top secret, can be previewed at http://www.taserx3.com/. Currently they state it will have the following features, which will make it the hot new item for this next year for law enforcement agencies:Brand new design, two self adjusting lasers, color display, hardened "MilSpec" contruction, wireless link to servers and upload to taser Axon recording device, arc display with carterage still inserted for compliance, ability to engage multiple targets at the same time, self adjusting rate of fire/pulse to person.

I have a question, as an outsider (civilian, but ex-military); what do you think of the pros vs cons on uses of a taser. I have seen where it has saved someone's life, I have also seen it used in situations that it was not intended for (lately, on a grandmother)
