Our response: Deputy Avnet and Anonymous reader, thank you for taking the time to write to us. Avnet, as you may know we supported you in several areas recently. Initially it is true that we took the stance that we would not publish untrue issues about police officers. There is a certain amount of smack talking that occurs in every department, obviously. The main issue is where is the line drawn about what to allow and what not to allow. It is very difficult for us, actually impossible, for us to determine who these comments are coming from. Some of these comments appear to be coming Heath himself. I reference you to the earlier comments that were supposedly originating and/or signed by Heath himself, "Im the man. You all wish you had an Ass as big as mine. My stats are bigger than yours too. New charger driver Heath. Tuesday, July 07, 2009 2:44:00 PM." We also received a comment about comments that Heath supposedly made to a coworker in reference to being better then them or having higher stats or being their future supervisor or such, and approx 20 other comments, which we did not publish.
So, if Heath is making these comments about himself, then a response should be allowed from others. If it is not Heath making these comments about himself then, you are correct, in the comments should not be allowed. Although, we have not received any e-mails from either Heath or Cordry objecting to these posts.Sometimes we receive so many responses in one day we approve items we honestly have not had a chance to read thoroughly. Apparently, some people feel Heath has an "ego" problem or whatever the case may be. Police work is lined with egos and fatheads so, it's a dime a dozen. But, this should be addressed directly to him by the individual officers that have those concerns. Some people feel it is "safer" to address these concerns, as a corrective action, in a public setting anonymously, such as this crappy blog.
So, we apologize to our readers but these are not our opinions. However, recall that we have not published any articles admonishing individual police officers. These are all views of our readers, some of whom are not very kind for whatever reason. But, we will do a better job of filtering these types of repetitive negative comments because, after reading them more closely, we feel they were generated for the soul purpose to make people feel bad about themselves as people.

I did not get to see the post everyone is chatting about. It seems young Heath has taken offense to some of the comments. Let first say to Deputy Heath it is lonly at the top. If you work your ass off, as you a a handful of deputies do. It pisses off the lazy R.O.D.S. As Sheriff lewis would say. Retired On Duty.
It is sad that something as simple as a new car can turn brother against brother. That is the real issue here.
Heath being that this seemed to center around you I would ask myself. Do I do my job ? Do I give a shit what lazy cops think of me. I would walk tall and carry a big stick. As someone who has known you since birth. Well close. By the way he weighed one hundred and eleven pounds at birth. You need thicker skin.
To all the cry babies whose stats suck and you spend half the night bad mouthing the agency and your fellow cops. Find a new line of work. I for one could give a shit what is happening on the West Wing. To the Road Dogs kicking ass at MSP, WCSO,FPD, and almost Delmar, your getting close. WTF DPD try one midnight shift without being in you freaking P.J.s.

The posts that people were chatting about was deleted. However, bear in mind that RODS as you call them did not origionally start out as RODS. Some of them are RODS because they have been screwed over. Their attitude is, as included in our articles about reactions to poor administrative issues, was a passive resistant attitude. So, don't fault all the RODS. Some of the RODS have become RODS because of what was done to them. Some RODS are just that RODS.
Crooks are Crooks and RODS ARE RODS, there are only one type. The real cops always do their job and earn their pay, regardless of pittyful excuses.
In my experience, the more one cop complains, the less he does. i.e. bitch about not having a radar unit and when he gets one he makes 2 stops a month.
GOD bless you real cops. To the sandbag cops, find a different career so we can get some hard chargers to do the work your afraid to do.

All right girls get a room. We are still brothers and sisters. I for one applaud all the hard working cops out there. I have had my times but if you do it for the praise or to be part of the inner circle you are in it for the wrong reason. That is how cops get hurt. Pull your head out of your ass and kick some criminal ass.
I have been kicked so many times all I can do is laugh. I love who and what i am. If you are shot do you think for one minute a paper pusher will there in your last breaths.
