As we all know your enjoyment at work can be directly linked to administration or supervision. They can make it much more difficult to do your job effectively or make it much easier to do your job effectively. Some of the negative aspects of poor supervision and administration is micromanagement. Micromanagement can lead to officer call outs, excessively poor work performance, passive resistant attitudes, poor health effects, personal life issues, and even officer suicides. Many departments, as noted in our previous articles, use micromanagement as a tactic to "keep officers in check" which for the most part is not necessary. Is it good to write up an employee for being late two minutes? Does this accomplish anything beneficial? Is it beneficial to write up employees for not filling out forms properly, when they are legitimate mistakes? Are they micromanaging because it makes them feel good or to impress higher echelon administration for their own benefit at others personal and psychological expense?
Sometimes the more administration micromanages employees, employees fight back by not performing (i.e. passive resistance). There are multiple studies that confirm this shown below...

This is definitely an article that represents Lt. Robin Roberts of the WCSO. No personal skills and is the worst supervisor the s.o. has ever had
Personally, I've always got along with Robin file... until he sent out his last three e-mails. He must have been promoted to the soda machine, hole in wall, and shredder police. The last three e-mails we got from him were the worst and frankly an embarrassment to the agency admin. Totally insulting, talking to us like we were three year olds. Sad. Gee wonder why moral is so low?
And just think....he could have been the new Sheriff. Too bad he got SPANKED!!
Robin was a trench cop. never meant to be a hugs and kisses guy. As for the shredder deal he should have put his tongue in the shredder. Robin has done more shit than a lot of u will ever do in the way of arrest. Just lookin pretty does not cut it. They should lock his computer in a closet. As for whoever busted the hole in the wall speak the fuck up or at least fix it. We do not live in the projects. As for the mental midget that put the 50 cent piece in the candy machine. What the fuck you must have been jonesing. I want it back by the way.
