Below is an article posted by the naysayer of all law enforcement on the shore, "SHARAH BOYKIN". Boykin routinely publishes negative articles about law enforcement officers. Some of the readers of the Daily Slime would like to think that all cops are dirty cops because of the way this lady writes her articles. She likes to sensationalize issues that may or not be of major importance in order to sell newspapers and boost her own career at the cost of others who protect us. This lady should be ashamed of herself and how she conducts her articles with complete partiality to bashing all police officers serving in the line of duty. Boykin we poop on you. We will be writing an in depth article on this law enforcement hater in the up coming blogs.
In the future we will be publishing an article on how to stem the crime rate and solve many crime problems for the city proactively. Stay tuned! Boykin is right about one thing the crime rate is outrageous from armed robberies, burglaries, and strong armed robberies that occur each day in the city and the county.

Salisbury crime task force
reconvenes
Mayor revives committee after noting slight increase in
violent crime in area
By Sharahn D. Boykin - Staff Writer
SALISBURY -- After noting what he called a recent slight
increase in violent crime, the mayor reconvened the city's crime task force
Tuesday morning in the Government Office Building.
"Crime is what we have to get our arms around," said Mayor Jim Ireton.
The resurgence of the committee, made up of city government officials, university representatives, residents and law enforcement, coincides with what some have labeled a wave of robberies and burglaries in the area.
The committee was born nine months ago under the Barrie
Parsons Tilghman administration after the body of a dead prostitute was found.
At the time, the 14-member panel was charged with pinpointing important
crime-related issues and developing solutions to address them.
Along with a new mayor, new members were seated around the table. The new commander for the Maryland State Police Salisbury Barrack, Lt. Ernest Leatherbury Jr., talked
about recent efforts by local law enforcement agencies to work together and
share resources. Mark McIver, also new to the committee and known for his work
with the Salisbury Chamber of Commerce and CrimeSolvers, said involvement from
the Board of Education and the juvenile justice system are needed to help
resolve crime issues
"Crime is not a law enforcement problem. It's a community
problem and it's going to take the community to solve it," McIver
said.
Each committee member took a turn and discussed what worked for the committee in the past, the need to continue the work and unanimously agreed the committee should remain in existence.
When Tilghman convened the crime task force, she gave it 60-90 days to develop a list of recommendations before the committee was scheduled to expire. While all members that were present agreed there was a need for the committee and the previous exercises executed by subcommittees were helpful, Councilwoman Debbie Campbell noted a barrier in the way.
"The one big stumblng block was that we did not have the cooperation of our chief of police in getting information," Campbell said.
Ireton made a pledge to the committee chairman, Salisbury University Dean of Students Edwin Cowell, that he would implement recommendations from the crime task force.
"These are not recommendations that are going to be made and sit on a shelf," he said.

This place is a shit hole, always has been.
I'm afraid to walk my dog at night and I live in a decent neighborhood. But, how come every time I drive up route 13 by the part where there are motels theres always women standing around on the corner? It's really terrible to see. I wish the city or county or whomever would do something about this. Terrible.
Boykin? Who the hell is Boykin??
The crime does suck but, this boykin girl is really bad in her writing of police. It's depressing to read. I understand why the crapper doensn't like her.
Boykin is a writer for the Daily Times. Shes very anti-police. Writes articles about the police and casts them in a bad light all the time. I love our cops. I always see them around.
HA! Shes a tick!
